For the first time an overseas team, Australia’s Bruce Hodgson and co-driver Mike Mitchell, scored a narrow victory in their Lotus Cortina from the Holden Torana GTR XU1 of New Zealand’s Ralph Emson and co-driver Wayne Jones.
