Europe’s volcanic ash issues won’t stop Rally New Zealand

While rally teams travelling from Europe to Rally New Zealand, the FIA World Rally Championship event which starts in Auckland on 6 May, may have their pre-event preparation affected that won’t stop the event going ahead.

Loeb’s three-peat extends WRC title lead

Frenchman Sebastian Loeb and co-driver Daniel Elena have again extended their advantage in the 2010 FIA World Rally Championship for Drivers with a 54 second winning margin in the weekend’s Rally of Turkey, this season’s fourth event.

Both the number and the calibre of entries for this year’s Rally New Zealand, the fifth round of the 2010 FIA World Rally Championship, have reinforced the popularity of the long-running New Zealand event.
