Colin McRae
Thanks for the inspiration you gave my whole family!! You will always be remembered and a piece of you will always be with us. One of your signed photos hangs on our wall to remind us of what we are capable of. I am not a rally driver, rather a follower and photographer, but its as a father and husband I send our families best wishes to the McRae family.

My condolences to Colin's family, we was a well respected and liked competitor in New Zealand.
He always had time to talk to his Kiwi fans and was a pleasure to work with.
My thoughts to Colin's family and to Alistair.

Colin was a driver totally committed to winning though always having fun while competing. I can remember his enthuisiasm when he was the first driver to beat the 60kph average for Motu. He was exhausted - though his eyes clearly said MATCH THAT. No other driver could. All motorsport fans will miss Colin. Our thoughts are with the McRae family.

I will never forget the great days of the 1990's and the impact Subaru made on the WRC. Colin and his classic sideways to victory style showed how group A cars should be driven.
His memory will live forever in New Zealand rally circles.
I am sure memories of a more special nature will comfort the family.
